John Savident, known for playing Fred Elliott in Crowning celebration Road, has passed on matured 86, his representative has said.

The star was known for his flourishing voice while playing the nearby butcher on the ITV cleanser.

An assertion from his representative to the Dad news organization said: "We are miserable to declare the demise of the entertainer John Savident who kicked the bucket on Wednesday.

"He was a much-cherished spouse and father of two and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Savident joined the Manchester-based cleanser in 1994, and immediately turned into a #1 with watchers because of his enormous character and boisterous voice.

Iain MacLeod, ITV's chief maker for proceeding with show, expressed: "Everybody at Crowning ceremony Road is profoundly disheartened to learn of John Savident's demise.

"As Fred Elliott, John immovably set up a good foundation for himself in the pantheon of Crowning ordinance Road greats.

"His excellent comic timing, joined with a profound feeling emerging from his remarkable sensational expertise, made Fred an extraordinary, notorious person that gave incredible delight to watchers to numerous years."

His storylines included his lamentable love life, including three relationships and a few bombed recommendations.
