Renjun of NCT responds sharply to an invading sasaeng fan, saying, "Don't hide and type like a rat."

After receiving a confrontational SMS on his phone from an intruding "fan," NCT's Renjun decided to take matters into his own hands.

Renjun of NCT Dream chastised a netizen earlier today for breaching his privacy and sending him a malevolent message. He discussed how he handled the incident and replied to being on the receiving end of the sasaeng fan's spontaneous outburst on social media (via the Bubble conversation).

He sent the snapshot of the heated conversation he had with the fan who was stalking him and had somehow managed to get his phone number.

The invasive remark, according to Koreaboo, criticized musicians for having "it too easy these days." They continued by accusing K-pop stars in the message trail of showing off their wealth and good looks, carelessly participating in the dating scene, and much more.

"Idols have it way too easy these days, flaunting their looks, dating freely, and making money left and right," the saesang wrote. Their live performances are appalling; they're too carefree, impersonal, and lack the fervor of the prior generation. Simply give up using phones completely.

Renjun chose to speak with them directly rather than ignore the unexpected message by sliding past it. Instead, he encouraged them to come out from behind the screen and vent their frustration to his legal counsel.

"Idols experience hardships just like everyone else," he went on. "If you have the time, practice being composed and serene. Don't vent your resentment on strangers," Renjun chastised them for their combative demeanor.

Sasaeng fans are devoted followers who specifically violate the privacy of well-known public figures in the Korean entertainment industry by obtrusive means. They are particularly linked to artists who stalk people. In the past, there have been multiple instances where K-pop idols have been called by sasaeng fans during live broadcasts, only to have their lives disturbed by stalkers.
