For the third week running, Lovely Runner and its main cast members managed to maintain their position as the most talked-about show and performers.

It's important to research the unmatched rise in popularity of tvN's ongoing time-travel series Lovely Runner! In a manner unmatched by any other recent K-drama, Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon have captivated audiences around the globe with their amorous charm.

Even while the fantasy series has run its course as a weekday program, it has no intention of slowing down. Conversely, it has managed to pull off the seemingly unachievable feat of making drama fans swoon over Mondays and Tuesdays.

The drama has led Good Data Corporation's Korean ranking of "Online Buzzworthiness" for three weeks running since it overthrew Queen of Tears, tvN's previous unstoppable success story, during the first week of May. With a buzzworthiness score of 54.55%, the remarkable love story that defies all known laws of physics topped the TV drama chart during the third week of May 2024. However, it received a 47.42% rating on the TV-OTT list.

In the weekly competition, Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon's unstoppable and captivating chemistry did not falter as they secured the top two spots, respectively, for the third week running.

There's a new K-drama that debuts on the Top 10 buzzworthy list.

Apart from being a remedy for Monday blues, Chun Woo Hee and Jang Ki Yong's JTBC series The Atypical Family has turned into a weekend companion for male lovers of K-content. Both on TV and TV-OTT charts, the series itself held its position as the second-most buzzworthy program. On the list of the week's most buzzworthy performers, Woo Hee came in third, and Ki Yong came in fifth.

In addition, fresh Chief Detective 1958 episodes that aired on Friday and Saturday confirmed Lee Je Hoon's popularity.

The most recent romantic comedy from Kim Myung Soo, Dare to Love Me, which is available on Netflix, debuted at No. 9 on the TV list this past week. Starring Lee Min Ki, Kwak Sun Young, and Heo Sung Tae, ENA's Crash (available on Disney Plus) was another May 13 K-drama premiere that created a stir on the same list.

Despite having debuted on TV-OTT last week, the Chun Woo Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol film The 8 Show (available on Netflix) aimed for a notable uptick in popularity this past week by securing the third spot. Uncle Samsik, a Disney Plus series starring Song Kang Ho, debuted on May 15 and debuted at No. 6. Meanwhile, the actor himself rounded out the list of the Top 10 Actors, making his first appearance on the chart since the series' debut.
