After the infamous 2016 scandal, the Country Music Association Awards continued to show disdain for Queen Bey well into 2024.

Regretfully, there were no intentions to patch things up between Beyonce and the Country Music Association Awards this year. Although the "Cowboy Carter" performer released one of the biggest country albums of the year, the CMAs once again neglected to treat her with respect.

This year, Queen Bey's 2024 album made history by lasting four weeks at the top of the Billboard Top Country Albums list. She is the first Black woman to achieve this unachievable milestone. Before its March 29 release, Beyoncé purposefully marketed the album as a "Beyonce album" rather than a "Country album." Her breakthrough track from the same album, "Texas Hold Em," also made history by making her the first Black woman to consistently maintain the top slot on Billboard's Hot Country Songs list for ten weeks straight.
