"Godzilla X Kong" overtakes "Mission Impossible 7) and "Fast X" to become one of the largest Hollywood openings in India.

On its first day of release in India, "Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire" brought in double digits of revenue. Based on preliminary estimates, the movie took in about Rs 14 crore on its opening day. With that, it surpassed "Avatar: The Way of the Water" to become one of the biggest Hollywood openers in India.

"Godxilla X Kong: The New Empire" achieved a double digit opening, an accomplishment that was beyond even Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon's "Crew." The movie opened to Rs 13.80 crore despite the release of Indian movies like "Crew" and "Aadujeevitham," also known as "The Goat Life."

"Godzilla x Kong" is a collaboration you would never have anticipated to produce on such a large scale, according to the assessment.
