In a special interview with news chenal.in, producer Arbaaz Khan likened Vikrant Massey's "12th Fail" to "Patna Shuklla." He also talked about how he would rather be a producer than an actor and how important it is to make a compelling movie no matter what the subject matter.

"Patna Shuklla," which was produced by Arbaaz Khan and starred Raveena Tandon, was likened to Vikrant Massey's "12th Fail." In a special conversation with news channel.in, the actor-producer discussed what makes "Patna Shuklla" unique among the many courtroom dramas already on the scene. Additionally, he made his decision between becoming an actor and a producer. In addition to him, Anushka Kaushik—who has a significant role in the movie—spoke about how important it was for her to choose her scripts carefully early in her career.

Arbaaz Khan talked about what sets 'Patna Shuklla' apart from the many courtroom dramas that already exist. "Nobody would make cop movies if you were to just go with the knowledge that a certain subject or a character has been done to death," he said to IndiaToday.in. Not a single male actor in the world hasn't acted in over ten cop movies over their career. But why do we still produce police dramas? The reason a "Dabangg," "Singham," or "Rowdy Rathore" succeeds is their uniqueness. It's not that a film about a police officer or a drama set in a courtroom that has already been produced won't succeed.
