With her estranged ex-husband, Angelina Jolie "harbours no ill-will toward" him and wishes for the family to "heal in peace." Brad Pitt, though, is "willing to drag out."

The French vineyard dispute between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, which initially led to their marriage but is still a source of pain for their family, has evolved into a protracted legal dispute between the ex-couples. Pitt returned triumphant against his ex-wife on March 13. But a week later, a Los Angeles court found against Brad and dismissed five of the seven allegations he had maintained against Jolie, burying his victorious outrage. She's prepared to give up her superhero role and move in to quietly "heal in private" following a protracted argument that has damaged their family. However, Brad? Not in that way. The ex-couple is embroiled in a custody battle for their six children, Maddox (22), Pax (20), Zahara (19), Shiloh (17), and the twins Knox and Vivienne (15).

Paul Murphy, Jolie's lawyer, told Entertainment Weekly following her victory in the winery lawsuit that Pitt incited the court battle in order to "cover up serious abuse." He said that Jolie "truly harbours no ill-will toward Mr. Pitt" and discussed her demurrer. Her goal is to get out of this "frivolous lawsuit." Murphy said that Pitt's accusations had no legal foundation, so the judge rejected them.

The legal dispute between Brad and Angelina began in 2021 when the latter chose to sell her stake in Chateau Miraval. The French vineyard, which is situated in the south of the country, used to be their family's destination for grander aspirations; in fact, the former couple got married there in 2014.
