Eva provided the update in an interview with Marie Claire for their November cover story, citing the re-election of Donald Trump as president and the nation's "changing vibe" following the Covid-19 pandemic as the reasons for the decision.

"This is where I spent my entire adult life. However, it was already evolving prior to the epidemic. It had a different vibe. The COVID-19 pandemic then pushed it over the brink. Whether it's the taxes or the homelessness, I don't want to criticize California; it just feels like this phase of my life is over," she remarked.
