The iconic fictitious figure, who started a trailblazing life, first arose in the King Features comic strip during the 1920s. Right now, he's riding the rising wave of live-action movies. The Teen Titans live-streamed earlier this week.

It was also announced that an action movie was in production, and it appears that Popeye has joined the group of ambitious projects already in development.
