Mumbai: Kokilaben Hospital admits megastar Amitabh Bachchan for an angioplasty.

After learning that he was admitted to the hospital, Bachchan posted on his official social media account to thank everyone.

Amitabh Bachchan, the veteran actor, had an angioplasty at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. He was allegedly admitted to the hospital on Friday morning. There hasn't been an official word yet from the hospital or the family.

After learning that he was admitted to the hospital, Bachchan posted on his official social media account to thank everyone. Under "T 4950 - in gratitude ever.." was the note. A video of the actor and his son Abhishek Bachchan during their Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) involvement was also released by the actor. They could be seen cheering as their team advanced to the finals in the video.

Bachchan had this surgery as her second treatment of the year. He had surgery in January to treat a wrist injury he sustained during last year's "Kalki 2898 AD" filming in Hyderabad. In addition, the actor had a torn muscle and strained rib cartilage, which kept him from attending the San Diego Comic Con to promote the film.

Regarding his career, Bachchan is getting ready for the premiere of "Kalki 2898 AD," in which he co-stars with Prabhas, Disha Patani, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone. The film is slated to be released on May 9. He'll also be appearing in the next movie, "Section 84".
