Vindu Dara Singh Talks About His Ex-Wife Farah Naaz & recalls His Father's Advice On Interfaith Marriage

His portrayal of "Hanuman" in the television series Jai Veer Hanuman and Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana helped him become well-known. In 2009, Vindu went on to win the third season of Bigg Boss, a well-known reality TV show. In his private life, the actor wed Farah Naaz, a Bollywood actress, in 1996; the couple received their son, Fateh Randhawa, in 1987. Regretfully, Farah and Vindu broke up in 2002. Vindu recalled his father's words and said:

"Ever since...Well, that's not the case at all. When Farah and I were about to tie the knot and I was in love, my father stated, "Vindu sochle acchi tarah." Love is like water; it comes and goes.It can be difficult when there are differences in religion—between Muslims and Hindus, for example. We didn't really care about religion because we were both in love, so I said, "Ni dad kuch hard nahi hai."
