The chapter opens with Gojo Saturo explaining how the Black Flash operates in a flashback sequence.

The arrival time of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 256 is scheduled for Monday, April 8, at 12 am JST. Fans are getting more and more excited for the chapter as the release date draws near. On Thursday, April 4, however, the raw scans of Gege Akutami's manga series were leaked online before of its official release. The JJK 256 spoilers are as follows:

There's a flashback sequence with Gojo.
In a flashback scene that opens the chapter, Gojo Saturo describes the Black Flash's mechanism. He makes it clear that it is not so easy after realizing that some people think he can utilize it intentionally. Gojo continues by saying that even with Six Eyes, he is unable to employ the ability whenever he pleases.

Gojo acknowledges that he can imbue his blows with Cursed Energy during a battle, even if there is no clear way to activate Black Flash. On the other hand, Black Flash activation is entirely luck-based. Then, drawing a comparison between himself and Kento Nanami, he asserts that the latter has a higher record of consistently employing the Black Flash.
