With her distinct fashion sense, Aishwarya Rai once again stole the show at Cannes 2024. Aishwarya provided much-needed charm and elegance in her second outing at French Riviera alongside her daughter Aaradhya. On the second day of their trip to Cannes, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were spotted enjoying the son from the Martinez balcony. While Aishwarya looked dapper in her blue designer dress, Aaradhya went with a yellow co-ord set featuring a cheetah print. Aishwarya was also spotted greeting guests and waving at the paparazzi at Cannes in one of the widely shared photos that went viral online.

 On May 16, Aishwarya and Aaradhya landed in Cannes. At the 77th Cannes film festival, a bouquet was presented to the mother-daughter pair. The host hugged Aaradhya and bowed to Aishwarya as a sign of respect. After seeing the actress's viral video, viewers were worried as well because she was wearing a white cast around her wrist and had her arm in a sling.

Aishwarya is making her 21st appearance at the esteemed international film festival. At the 2002 Cannes Film Festival, she had made her début wearing a Neeta Lulla saree and a lot of gold jewellery. Her iconic film Devdas was also released in the same year. The movie, which costarred Madhuri Dixit and Shah Rukh Khan, was an adaptation of the same-titled Bengali novel by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay.

Concerning Cannes 2024

Together with Aishwarya, Sobhita Dhulipala recently debuted at Cannes wearing a shimmer jumpsuit designed by Namrata Joshipura. On May 16, Kiara Advani also planned to attend the film festival. She has not yet made an appearance on the red carpet.
