In her most recent movie, "The Substance," Demi Moore, 61, showed everything, calling it a "vulnerable experience."

Variety cited the actress as saying, "I felt very safe with someone who was a great partner," during a press conference on Monday at the Cannes Film Festival.

When it came to dressing down, the actress gave appreciation to costar Margaret Qualley for making her feel comfortable.

and we also found a great deal of humor in those instances around how ridiculous those particular circumstances were "explained Moore. "But ultimately, it’s just about really directing your communication and mutual trust."

"… Going into it, it was really spelled out – the level of vulnerability and rawness that was really required to tell the story," Moore said. "And it was a very vulnerable experience and just required a lot of sensitivity and a lot of conversation about what we were trying to accomplish."

The publication claims that Moore plays Elizabeth Sparkle, who utilizes a medicine from the black market to turn herself into a younger version of herself in an effort to salvage her waning fame (Qualley). Moore's character in the movie examines her naked body before taking "the substance."

But it's not all over happily. Sparkle's character experiences torture from "her other half," which leads to her becoming scarred. According to the source, Moore changes into "a humpback abomination" by the movie's last act.

Moore acknowledged that "it was very strange" to see herself wearing prosthetics that, the site said, made her look like Anjelica Huston's role in the 1990 movie "The Witches."

Moore claimed, "My dog could still recognize me." "It was my touchstone of reality."
