The actor stated that women "sing songs, they look pretty, they do a few weepy scenes and that's it" and that it is "very easy to get stuck with labels." Zeenat continued, saying that although she had a breakthrough role in Hare Rama Hare Krishna, she went on to play more substantial roles in Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Insaaf ka Taraazu, and Bandhan Kachche Dhaago Ka.
