Review of Batman: Caped Crusader – Batman was portrayed as a menacing creature by Matt Reeves in The Batman (2022) and Christopher Nolan in the Dark Knight trilogy. Nor did Ben Affleck's roles in Justice League and Batman v. Superman lend much assistance. For this reason, the 2017 Lego Batman Movie was such a welcome change of pace.
