Exclusive: Raj Kundra refutes any relationship to the alleged Bangladeshi actor, saying, "These are untrue and I'm very disturbed."

Husband of star Shilpa Shetty Kundra, businessman Raj Kundra, tells HT City he has no relationship with Bangladeshi actor Riya Arvinda Barde, who was detained.

Actor Riya Arvinda Barde, from Bangladesh, was taken into custody on Thursday in Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra, on suspicion of entering the country illegally with forged documents, sources informed PTI. According to reports, she contributed to projects managed by Raj Kundra Productions.

But Kundra exclusively claims to HT City that all of these accusations are "false." He states that the news that is making the rounds has him "deeply disturbed": "I am deeply disturbed by recent news articles circulating false allegations about me." According to these claims, one person— purportedly an illegal immigrant—was employed by me or connected to one of my purported production firms. To be quite clear, I have never met this person and have never owned or been associated with any production firm that this person has been employed by."
