Janet Jackson is sharing her thoughts about the "beautiful impact" and joys of parenthood. The 58-year-old said in a Saturday interview with The Guardian that she had intended to have three children but had given up after her now seven-year-old son Eissa Al Mana.

Janet Jackson explains why, despite desiring three children, she only had one.
The All For You singer told the outlet, "Becoming a mother has been the biggest and most important thing I've done, and it's had a beautiful impact on my life." Eissa was born in 2017 to Jackson and her ex-husband Wissam Al Mana. But three months after the birth of their kid, the couple called it quits on their five-year marriage.
