At the film's wrap party, Vijay Varma, who is dating Tamannaah Bhatia, talked candidly about how their relationship first began.

With the release of his most recent movie, Murder Mubarak, Vijay Varma is soaring. In a recent interview with Tanmay Bhat on Netflix India's YouTube channel, the actor—who has been dating Tamannaah Bhatia for some time—explained how they first became romantically involved following the filming of Lust Stories 2. What Vijay expressed

Vijay explained how their romance started during the talk, saying, "We didn't start dating during the shoot; Lust Stories was just a cupid." Although there was talk of holding a wrap party, it was never held. So, just four people showed up for the wrap party that we planned... I think I told her that day that I wanted to spend more time with you. After that, it took me twenty to twenty-five days to go on my first date.

The Netflix original anthology Lust Stories 2 marked the first time Vijay and Tamannaah appeared together on television. The scene that showed them together had been directed by Sujoy Ghosh. After being sighted together at a New Year's celebration, romance rumors began to circulate. In an interview with Film Companion in June of last year, Tamannaah confirmed her connection with Vijay, ending months of such rumors. Since then, the two have gone to a number of public events together and frequently leave comments on each other's social media posts.
