Poet and actor Priya Malik, who welcomed a boy into the world last month, discusses loving motherhood.

Priya Malik, an actor and poet, is still getting used to being a mother. Every minute of parenthood, according to her, is special.

Known as Bigg Boss 9 A day before Holi on March 24, Malik and her business-minded spouse Karan Bakshi welcomed a baby boy into their family. He goes by the moniker Zorawar.

In terms of life, becoming a mother has greatly increased my appreciation for the little things. It truly is a miracle to see the world through a newborn's eyes, Malik tells us in her first interview following the baby's arrival.

"It has also forced me to slow down and smell the roses," she continues. Regarding my job, I still have the same ardor for the stage that I did before—in fact, I want my child to see me succeeding in both my roles as a mother and a performer. I'll be truly happy if that happens.

Here, she discloses that she had a unique birth plan, which she is happy to have carried out successfully. "Thank goodness, my gynecologist agreed with my extremely detailed birth plan. When Zorawar was born, "Ik Onkar" was playing in the background. The most special moment was watching my husband Karan cut the umbilical chord! Everything about this minute, other from that one, has been amazing! Even the restless evenings and the urinating and defecating," she divulges.

She says that the experience of being pregnant was not simple.

"I was terrified of miscarriage during my first pregnancy because I had experienced one before. But, she adds, "I think that actually helped me deal with the anxiety and worries that come with pregnancy because I worked and traveled almost the whole time." All of this makes the moment she holds her son in her arms even more memorable.
